Week in review: Camping

Hide the marshmallow.
The purple pocket chart is from Target- it isn't full size nor table top.

I took this photo- I surprise myself!

Smore's from Life over C's

Letter T book From the Pond
With my glue sponge and Scentos colored pencils

I colored them in and let froglet glue the photos after I read the page.

Flip the jar and catch the lightening bugs or fireflies (whichever you like)

Week in Review: Ocean

This is from Play to Learn Preschool

The fishing poles to this game are the worst!
We reach our hands in and take one out without looking.

Those Scentos came from Literacy and Lattes

This is how it was set up.
Yes there are wipes.
Normally, I only allow black ink.
My students color their stamp prints in.
I bought the ink pads at Target in the dollar section.

We set the stamps on the color we were going to use.

Then we rolled and stamped.
With older kids they could roll stamp and then add.
Circling two set of ocean animals for the problem.

This is how I store my inks.  Yes they are upside down.
This is so the ink stays near the top.
Old scrapbooking tip!
When we were done, out came the wipe and we cleaned them.

We played a fishing game.

This is that Dolphin Game. It's sort of like Hungry Hippos.
This is a bowl that tips lol
You pick the small balls up and drop them into your colored cup.

We did puzzles and play ocean dominoes.

Here are the octopus cheese for snack.

Kinderpond Celebrates Moms!

Froglet would only calm down when he was a baby to Glee.
Very fitting that's what he chose for our dance party!

Jewels from Dollar Tree.
The ice cubes were from Dollar Tree and Big Lots.

So I pulled out the play doh toys.
Heart is our shape.
The yellow thing is the letter.
The orange thing is our number.
Yes, that is Scentos playdough!

I used cardstock.
Painters tape from Dollar Tree.

Some of my tape pulled the paper off :(

Spinach and artichoke dip.

Don't forget to check your local yard sale groups on Facebook.
I paid less than a $1 per book.

Week in Review: Weather

Adding the trucks to his 14 days of Love envelope.

There is another row of green cards.
I was trying to fit it in my smaller
pocket chart lol

 How fabulous!!

Froglet got a Paw Patrol calendar for Christmas.
I wanted it to be something that was worthwhile and meaningful,
so I made small stickers for him to attach.

I used small mailing labels.
I got about 3 to each label.
I drew 4 things from the week.
I plan to grab my stamp sets and see what works.

Great process art- not very exciting ending lol
He had a blast "painting" so it was totally worth it!!

I am all for keeping it real.
Here was the weather page I added to his binder...
I guess he didn't like it too much! :)
It is still there.

Here was the groundhog cookie and Froglet was
coloring his for his cup.

Game seemed simple and I thought that it would take no time to win.
We played several times and none took less than 10 minutes.
Each player gets the 4 weather cards.
Spin and whatever spot you land on, you turn your card over.
I didn't realize that the gameboard was color coded until,
oh the 5th or so time we played lol

Froglet played this game many times over the course of the week and
each time he got it out, we played about three times in a row.

They do in fact still have rainbow airheads!
