October Morning Bins

These eraser cards are from HERE.

 Mini-erasers from Target.

Set 2 of morning bins
I store most of the pieces in those little sandwich boxes.

Thankfully all of those fit inside the box!!
Woohoo!

The third set is these trace and erase cards from HERE.

The last set will have a choice from HERE.

There is an apple, leaf, pumpkin, candy corn, and acorn.
We are going to make torn paper art.
In their bins, they have a fall pencil and a glue sponge.

October Morning Bins

Halloween Counting Mats

When I use these counting mats
(which come in a TON of themes!!)
I put dots by the numbers to help
 children who need help. :)

I used googly eyes from Dollar Tree

This one uses ghost table scatter.

We are loving the spiders!

It is still early in the year, so I put little dots so they

can count them to add that many spiders.

Eyeball jars the eyes are multi-colored.

We are going to work on our coloring skills.
Later we will cut them out along
with the brown stem and green leaf.
This is from the website From The Pond coloring club.

October: Week four

It's a "short" week for us. We are going to the pumpkin farm on Monday, so nothing really in our classroom.  So we are only having three morning bin rotations.

I scored these from Target. Check out that haul HERE.

Spider names from HERE.

End of the month scissor skills. Found HERE.

The rest of our centers are the same.

October centers

 Here are our Halloween Centers

Here we are lacing beads-- y'all for the life of me, I can't find pony beads lol
I found these foam ones so that works!

My library loft area

Some of our books

Pumpkin latte anyone?
Grab them here.

Pumpkins, skulls, and cauldrons, and a box of mini erasers.
I wrote the number on the outside and they add that many erasers to the container.

I have no idea where I got this book, so weird!

We had trouble erasing last week, so we are tracing with funky fingers.

Haunted House and I added mini eraser cats!

I spy number pumpkins.
Top card- find and cover all the 4s.
This will be in my store very soon!

Sensory Bin 1
Pom-poms: orange, purple, and black
random skulls, spiders, eyeballs

Sensory bin #2
pumpkin seeds, eyeballs, scoops
cauldrons, pumpkins
ice trays, and scrappers

We sorted them last week as a class and now
they can sort themselves

This is the science center

Most of the printables are from HERE.
Adventures of Pip the Pup: Fall is from HERE.

October Centers Week 4 Halloween

As we come into our last week of October,
brings Halloween! Regardless if I taught about it or not,
it is on all of our minds. :)

My hope for these is to:
 1) wind these up to work on fine motor
2) see how far these walk....

Matching pumpkin upper and lowercase

Felt ghosts and pumpkins
on our flannel board
we're working on vertical surfaces here

Fill In games:
Kids roll the dot cube and place that number of
mini erasers down on the game board
I haven't listed the pumpkins or webs yet lol

Play dough mats

Egg Cartons and tongs
oh and of course colored eye balls lol

We have a "dungeon" at my school,
while I was down there, I grabbed this!

The number cards are from Pocket of Preschool.

Pumpkins on the vine.
Roll a cube and draw on that many pumpkins.

This is how it gets put away when we're done :)

Side note... no Halloween Stew... it's what started it all off and why my past students love them... I can't for the life of me, find it!!!! waaaaaaaaaa

So we're doing Fall Stew from Pocket of Preschool.

A bunch of coloring pages and a spider

I have them use black paper for the legs.
We made folded paper for the 8 legs.

Adding the correct number of eyes to the monsters.

I love the cards and wanted to use them, so they became a math center.

A whole bunch of cutting practice

Pumpkin Puff Bake Shop
The kids read the recipe card and add that many poms to the trays.
The trays come from Dollar Tree

Last week, was my son's birthday, so we've been getting boxes sent to our house.
I look carefully, and low and behold,
these were things from my wishlist!!!

*cue tears*
