Winter Centers

Winter Centers

sn*w and ice magnatiles- not a big hit at all this year, no one used them!
I swapped it out with something in week two.
I think they were from Target.

Play-Doh with cookie cutters and mats.
Here are some play-dough mats $ for them to use:
More HERE $

Wooden houses and a truck from Target.

stuffies- mostly from Dollar Tree
We are using these as reading buddies :)

Cubes for a light table.
The box is from Dollar Tree and they are sn*wflakes.

plain white felt sn*wmen at the bottom
decorated sn*wmen
sn*wmen ornaments from Target.

Paper punches, white crayons, and colored pencils-
not a big hit either, swapped it out week 2.

Ten frames with sn*wflakes from a past KinderCrate.
I added felt numbers to match.

sn*wmen have magnets on the back for our magnet center.
Number guide from Tara West.
These were our snowmen math magnet game.$

In the white bin
I drew the faces on the cups.
The snowballs were from Target, I think.
The cups just sit in a bin, and the kids toss yarn  pom-poms
into them and call out the number they sank the pom-pom.

Besides our fine motor table, I added these trays.
These are super small trays.
I have a bag for each number.
Yellow tray- random cards- I have zero idea where they came from.
Blue tray- Number Blocks cards from a set.
Number cards from some people I bought this summer.
(Blog post upcoming)
Red Tray~ textured cards from Target and sandpaper cards from FB Marketplace.
Pink Tray~ From Hands2Mind

Morning Bins week 1 & 2

The first week we made snowman names (it took two days plus, for everyone)

We cut up book orders Wednesday.

We made melted snowmen

Week 2

I grabbed these beads on clearance on Oriental Trading.

I always buy them after the season when they are cheap!

We are going to make patterns on a pipe cleaner.

Snowflakes beads- again on clearance at Oriental Trading.
more fine motor and patterning

but here are some free ones.

Here I used craft sticks.
I wrote the numeral,
the word, and made the dots :)

the bands came from... Oriental Trading on clearance of course lol

the hole punchers came from Dollar Tree
