Cookie Shop

Let the cookie-making BEGIN!!!!!!!

We read a couple of books to introduce the cookie shop.
Betsy from Play to Learn!!

Most of the printables came from Play to Learn.
I designed my sign after theirs and used clip art.

I made the green frosting thing with real tips.
It is a piece of felt.
The white bag behind is a real pastry bag, with a styrofoam tree form(?)

Most of the aprons are from Dollar Tree and I glued/taped badges on them.

to-go boxes

bowls are from Dollar Tree.
The bottom of the tray is labeled.

My chocolate chip cookies are felt with brown X's on them lol
Sugar cookies are from Target a few years back.
My GB cookies are foam and I think from a GB kit from
Oriental Trading- a super long time ago lol

Most of the items came from Dollar Tree.

Bowling Alley

All of the printables came from Pocket of Preschool.

A panoramic of our bowling alley and snack bar.

Here is some of our snack bar.
The games for our arcade
were bought from Walmart (I think lol)

I turned things around backwards or sideways.

When I was planning this and instead of me doing ALL of the work,

I pulled out all of the tags of what I thought we had,

and at one morning circle, I sent each child to our home living center to

gather the materials.

I started a list of things that I still had to find or buy.

I made pretzels our of Magic Model- and it was a total fail :(

I used a TON of brown liquid color... and they turned out purple.

I mean, I'm not mad at the color,

but they didn't survive :(

Have you made food for the classroom?

What medium did you use? Help a girl out!

Dramatic Play: Coffee Shop

We had a coffee/hot drink shop in January.

We were supposed to only have it for two weeks... but
we had four bad weather days in two weeks lol

We always had the workers... we always needed customers!

They all had fun... only wish some of the coffee was real!
