Week in Review: Carnival

Circus waffles!!!!




I glued a spinner on a CD case.
Works great!!!



We have ladybugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Blue cups and green basket both from Dollar Tree.



We picked 5 ping pong balls- we could only toss them
if we could read the words.

You could put:
*colors 
*color words.
*Numbers
*Math problems
*Letters
*Shapes

Fine motor snow-cones





tight rope walkers... including cats and dogs lol


Cotton Candy science




I used that blue sticky-tac  and card stock and wrote words on the paper.
Attached it to the bottom for the game.

Glue the clip-art to the chart/sentence strips

we will call them "acrobats"!

I think we will use our stacking cups and ping pong balls.
I was thinking of using a copy paper box lid but the balls may bounce out, so maybe the whole box instead??  
I was thinking if you needed to add words to the ping pong balls and they can read the ball, they can take a turn.





Thursday
Story: Snow Cones at the Carnival



Poem: 



Word Study:  Lucky Duck Sight Word 
Use plastic ducks from Dollar Tree or the actual game.
You will need to use garage sale dots to write words on the bottom of the ducks.


Fine Motor: Snow Cone cutting (there are some included)




Art: Puff Paint Cotton Candy 
 Shaving cream, glue and coloring

Don't have this game? Use one of those Target stack games. Don't have those?  Grab a number cube and blocks or I was thinking the ice cubes from Dollar Tree.  Roll a number cube and stack that many blocks/cubes.  Roll again and continue to stack!








Tuesday-

Music- Circus Lions  
Get out a real hula-hoop and go through!



Math/Life Skills/Science- Felt Counting Cards
Don't have the cards? use flash cards, write them on index cards.
You could match the numeral to the dots.
You could clip clothes pins on them.
You could match the numbers to the number shapes.
You could pick up a number and ask your child to identify it.
