Circus Week 1

Idea HERE

I have this Touch and Feel book with an elephant ears!

Tuesday~
Or I will make circles from pool noodles for us to toss our lion/tiger stuffed animals through

Wednesday~ Magnet Sheets from ABC's to ACT's

Thursday~ Play dough with added pieces from LifeOver C’s

Here is the play dough recipe I will use.

Friday~  iPad time, we have the Lego Circus app

Feed the elephant- use tongs or big tweezers to move from one container to another.  The idea from HERE used it as a game which involved running. We won't be doing that but you totally could!

Saturday~ Make popcorn in hot air popper.  We will cover our train table with a sheet or cloth. Dump in the popcorn kernels and keep the top part off!   Watch the delight and excitement.

For snack, we will make clown hats.  I will pipe the frosting and froglet will add the candies.
Idea from HERE

We will also try circus peanuts and cotton candy too!  Stay tuned- because when I was a little froglet myself, I was in the Circus!!!!!!  I have a certificate and of course some photos!!!  There will be action shots on our Facebook page, so be sure to check it out!!!

Spring has Sprung

Confession time, again.  When I taught full time in Kindergarten, we did a Jelly Bean Theme... the week after Easter.  So I could get cheap jelly beans lol

Sunday~ I will be adding some plastic Jelly Beans (like plastic eggs) to the bin.

Monday~

Tuesday~ Peep Tail Colors-
I found this activity and wanted to do something similar.

Wednesday~ Jelly Bean Sort from:
or HERE

or you can pull out the old stand-by jars from every other unit lol

Thursday~ Egg Carton Sort
I was thinking to help younger children, to only use the other part from the caterpillar we painted for the Very Hungry Caterpillar unit.

Or add this idea from

Friday:
I would add the letters "jelly beans" to the bin along with color words to go along with the colored jelly beans/eggs you have,

Here are some more Jelly Bean Activities

I was also thinking of printing off this sheet and using a jelly bean stamp or using their finger to make little jelly beans inside the J!
