Morning Bins: Spring Edition

I found some pretty thin straws in
our art room. I used that plastic gimp.
I tied a knot in one end with
a tap flag at the end.
My students cut the straws
(yes they will fly across the room!)
You will find them days and weeks later

When they get to the end, I will tie another
knot at the end.  I made it long, like a
very long necklace/lanyard length.

The never-ending game.
Add:
pop-it
pom poms
number cube
and plastic tongs

To play: roll the number cube. Pop that many pop-it domes.
Place poms on top.  Once pop-it is filled. Roll the number cube to get the poms off.
Once off, flip the pop-it over and begin again.

I used Dollar Tree foam cubes with 1-3 dots on it for longer play.

No clue where this cutie-patootie frog came from.
Children can choose what color they want to use for
this torn paper frog.
The heart is so they know to put their name there :)

The last bin this week for our theme words.
The printable came from the spring unit from Pocket of Preschool.
Kids write and illustrate 4/5 words.
It's a great keepsake.
