Wednesday Week in Review: Ocean

Look how neat and tidy these are!!!!

 Here in action:
Here how they cleaned up lol
yep, they don't all fit back into the container lol

So here are our sea creatures.
Many, many moons ago, we used these with large sheets
of construction paper and listed the names and
students matched the creature to the word.
Easy, simple, fun!

see his jammies????
They are shark themed too!
Added warm water.
He picked 3 animals that fit in the bottle.
I have decided that taking a good photo of a water bottle is near  impossible!!

This jellyfish was not a hit :(  I hung it on the window in hopes he would continue,
but he doesn't.  He touches it and tells me "it's sticky" lol

This octopus was the only toy I had that blew air.
So I tried to show him what to do and it was very comical!!
He smooshed the pom-pom with the toy and tossed it across the table!

Art~Shark Ocean Scene
So I was planning to do bubble wrap for the background and look at this interactive shark.... not sure how this will work and afraid that Froglet will rip it right out!  Oh well!  It's his artwork.  So to try to prevent this, I will put packing tape along the bottom to reinforce it somewhat!

I got the idea from here:

Week in Review: Ice Cream

Name practice
I turned our Lego table top upside down.

I had Froglet put the cones in the tins.
So we added all the extras in the bowl first.
I figured if something went wrong, we'd just start over lol
Worked well!

We had to use a toaster oven, so we did the best we could.
Everything tasted fine :)
Easily covered with frosting.

 Yes we used purple frosting...
I literally held out the cake cone for a split second.
you can see his front leg in the first photo.
He was in the other room!!!

It's summer time at our house, so we don't get to everything, so there is always next time lol
Sometimes we do them Wednesday afternoons or Friday's or even the weekends.
My moms group goes to different parks each Friday.
