Week Two in October

Cards from here$

Next up are pattern cards from Pocket of Preschool.
These are mini erasers and some cards have pumpkin seeds too.
I used these pumpkin seeds. I bought the 3-pound bag.
I added tongs if they want to use them.
Works fine motor :)

Trace, trace, (write) and erase here $

I like when things rhyme lol so we leave out the write part lol
We chant "trace, trace, and erase"

These ice cube trays are from Dollar Tree (old so not $1.25 lol)
The number cube is those foam cubes and I added the Pips or dots.
These have only numbers 1-3.
Roll the cube. Add that many poms to the tray, when it is all full,
they roll and take them out and when empty, roll and fill.
No ending lol

October centers

 Here are our Halloween Centers

Here we are lacing beads-- y'all for the life of me, I can't find pony beads lol
I found these foam ones so that works!

My library loft area

Some of our books

Pumpkin latte anyone?
Grab them here.

Pumpkins, skulls, and cauldrons, and a box of mini erasers.
I wrote the number on the outside and they add that many erasers to the container.

I have no idea where I got this book, so weird!

We had trouble erasing last week, so we are tracing with funky fingers.

Haunted House and I added mini eraser cats!

I spy number pumpkins.
Top card- find and cover all the 4s.
This will be in my store very soon!

Sensory Bin 1
Pom-poms: orange, purple, and black
random skulls, spiders, eyeballs

Sensory bin #2
pumpkin seeds, eyeballs, scoops
cauldrons, pumpkins
ice trays, and scrappers

We sorted them last week as a class and now
they can sort themselves

This is the science center

October Week Two

Our room is really coming along!

We have our math area and sensory bin area.

Here's our loft.
It houses bean bags
and our library.

The 9 cube shelves
hold our centers for the theme.

Here is our calendar area.

Here are our centers for the theme:

Pumpkin feelings mat-
we use play dough to make the faces:)

Here's a coloring sheet:
there is a color code
at the top.
I colored in the code
on mine and popped it in a plastic sleeve.

Pumpkin Stew

We've loved the school one :)

Another coloring sheet
(some of my students are super into coloring this year)
I added the green & brown construction
paper for the stem and leave.

Pumpkin Patch Count
Roll the dot cube and put that
many pumpkins in the wagon

Pumpkin patterns
I used real pumpkin seeds,
pumpkins and candy corn mini erasers.

Pumpkin Latte Count

The pick a card for the whipped cream and
then pick one for the pumpkin.
Tongs are included :)

Apple tracers
We use a make-up pad for erasers :)

All the scarecrows have names from our class.
Spell your name and then your friends :)

Most of the printables are from Pocket of Preschool.
