Monster Fun from Kinderpond

Name Practice- I am going to try these out this week.  Jackie from Pocket of Preschool, uses them daily.  I will write using yellow marker (follow the yellow brick road) for Froglet to trace.  By the end of the week, I will want him to trace all of his letters. He only has 6 letters :)

Fine Motor: Letters Punch Sheet

Science: Magnets I just got these so that's what we're going to try out.


Math: Cube Roll              Monsters            Monsters Outline


Art: Crayon Shaving Monsters 

I am going to print a monster out.  Cut it apart with two pages together.  Later glue in the waxed paper in between.

Grate crayons on to waxed paper.  Put between two sheets, cut out monster shape. Iron to melt crayons.

Writing: Monster tracing


Theme/Life Skills: Monster Rice Krispies 


Tuesday
Story: Where the Wild Things Are


Alphabet Study: Bingo Sheet





Science: Monster STEM

Story: Monster Book

Alphabet Study: I am going to print these out on fun paper. Then write letters on them.  I will put some letters into a monster bag and have Froglet pick a letter and match it to a monster.

Fine Motor: Lacing Monsters

Use slime from last week!

Math: Monster Roll and fill
Use monster erasers if you have them



Writing: Easel Writing

Draw with yellow the letter, number, and shape for this week on an easel. Let child trace them with pencil, marker, crayon :)
