Math Board: Number of the Day

I lost most of my wall space between my linear calendar and my smartboard screen. As part of our calendar routine, we do color of the day, shape of the day, name of the day, and letter of the day.   We also do number of the day.

In my Google Classroom, I have a Numberblock video and a Jack Hartman video for each number.

I use some NumberBlock figures that I display each day.  I also have a magnetic train car. I wait until I have all 11 train cars, then I add them to our centers.  I also have number transformers.

The blue dominoes and dice came from here

The different ways to make the number came from HERE.

The items in the middle are all from HERE.

The path of motion cards are from here.

I got the number blocks from here.

Pig from HERE.

Tally Marks from HERE.

The number two card came from the toys.

The towers came from HERE.

I made the frog 20 frames and added Velcro.

In the bag (which is just folded in half)
holds all the frogs.

I use real 10's and 1's cubes to attach to the printable.

Before and After from HERE.

They get a marker to do all of the work.
They add the dots to the dominoes and dice.
They trace number with their finger, then trace with a marker,
then write on the board.
They circle the number on the number line.

They add a frog.
They add a cube.
I write the number after they tell me.
They write the number before and after.
They also try to do the light lime green card.
It is a geo-board.  It's a real one, so it doesn't
stay on the board :)

We compare the NumberBlocks to the real one I have.
