Story Watermelon Watermelon
So it is the same story, just presented in a different manner. I do this frequently as repeated reading it is very beneficial.

Fingerplay- Watermelon Patch
tune: Are you Sleeping?

Watermelon, (Make a circle with your arms.)
Watermelon,
On the vine, (Curve hands and arms beside body.)
On the vine,
Sweet and red and juicy, (Rub your tummy.)
Sweet and red and juicy,
Please be mine! (Palms together as though pleading.)
Please be mine!

Watermelon, (Make a circle with your arms.)
Watermelon,
Thump, thump, thump, (Make a thumping movement with thumb and middle finger.)
Thump, thump, thump,
I think you are ready- (Point, resting finger on your temple.)
I think you are ready-
Big and plump! (Make a circle with your arms.)

Bug and plump!

Math/Life Skills/Science Roll and Take a Watermelon
You need a number cube and some watermelon counters. Roll the cube take that many watermelons. I made color and a black and white version free for you!!

Snack- watermelon push pops

That is one option, but I will make plain old watermelon pops just like my mom did.   I got my popsicle holders at Dollar Tree.  Chunk up watermelon, pop in blender and place into holders.   I may just give froglet watermelon in a bag and he can smoosh it. Then strain out the seeds and freeze.
