Nursery Rhyme Kinderpond Style

Nursery Rhymes are fabulous for little and big children. I could cite tons of research for you, but that's boring ;)

I am going to print some colorful graphics for each rhyme and add to a ring. You could add them to a bin or box.

I am going to only print 1 nursery rhyme per day to display in our learning board.

I am going to cut them apart and glue on index cards.

Story- Little Boy Blue

Poem Jack be Nimble

Really jump over a candle. Empty Pringles can. Any cylinder will work, I don't think we have a Pringles can lol

Music-  Itsy Bitsy Spider

use straw and spider ring

Run yarn through a straw and attach a spider ring tie off yarn. Think of a pulley type deal :) I think it will be sturdier than just the paper.

Math/Life Skills/Science  Muffin Man Math

Use a 6 muffin tin if you only want to work with the numbers 1-6

Add tongs if you want.  I offer them, never force.
Journal- Twinkle Twinkle

Use black paper and add gold or silver stars (Really any would work though)

Snack- Peter Piper

Pickle Roll Ups
Take your deli meat, spread whipped cream cheese, lay pickle spear down, and roll tightly.  Cut into circle.  They should *hopefully* stay rolled. I have seen people use toothpicks, but that won't be happening lol

I also found a Pickle Roll Up Dip if you don't think whole pickles will work.

Fingerplay- 1 2 Buckle My Shoe

Art- I'm A Little Tea Pot

Decorate tea pot with paint/daubers/markers/crayons

I picked one by searching "tea pot coloring page"
