5 Senses




Learning Board-

Journal- Draw an outline of an S.  Fill with stickers. I think I will also draw with a smelly markers.







Snack- Keeping the potato theme with potato chips.  We have the Potato Chip maker from Pampered Chef.

Tuesday-











Journal- Outline the number and draw the shape inside.  Your child not old enough to draw the shape? Then lightly draw with a pencil or use a yellow marker and they can trace.

Snack- Air popped popcorn.

Talk about all of the senses you are using.
See- the popcorn popping
Hear- the popcorn pop
Smell- what are you smelling?
Taste- what does it taste like?
Touch/feel- how does it feel?



Thursday-










Music-  instrument basket
(gather random instruments as you sing and wiggle)

Smell Jars

Now you can get all fancy and make your own, but I am going to open up my spices cabinet and we are going to smell them. :) Easy!!

I have some trash bins/trashcans and some small bins to use.  Adding something different builds excitement.  I am going to cut out little pictures for the front of them and Froglet sort the 5 Senses pieces correctly.

I grabbed these trashcans at Wal-Mart and maybe some others at Dollar Tree lol







Journal- Record favorites from each sense.  I am toying with just cutting out Learning Board page up on Friday lol


Snack- Investigate a coconut
Talk about all of the senses you are using.
See- the coconut- colors
Hear- the coconut milk inside
Smell- what are you smelling?
Taste- what does it taste like?
Touch/feel- how does it feel?


We have tons of individual senses books too that I will try to fit in as well!
